Scheduling

Key Points for Increasing Responsible Behavior
Point # 9:

Scheduling

In today’s society children find themselves with complex schedules that may leave little opportunity for them to take ownership of their leisure time. Allowing your child to independently explore their interests is essential. They also need to learn to deal with boredom in effective ways. Over scheduling takes away the responsibility of making your own good time. A wise friend once said to their nine year old daughter; “It’s good that you are bored, now figure out how to handle it because you are going to feel bored again.”
